A classic rock track but also an interesting one. G Mixolydian with lots of chromatic passing notes. I toyed with the idea of transcribing open strings on the way up the G-C-F progression but on the isolated track he’s playing F, Bb and Eb as passing notes on the way up and open strings on the way down.
Not sure of his picking pattern for this but for me it’s got some upstroke action in that’s a real test of how string you’ve got those up-chops.
